Weld Monitoring Unit
1. Get Set, Go… Simply connect up the current sensor to your welding cable, plug the current and voltage sensing wires into the weld monitor and plug in the 24V power adapter and you’re SET.
2. Perform a few ideal welds, adjusting the Range and Detection controls until the threshold level is detected.
3. Set the Hi and Lo Limit knobs to the desired process monitoring level and you’re DONE.

Weld Monitoring Unit
1. The unit independently measures the Actual weld energy delivered to the weld.
2. Actual Weld Energy measurement is much more process indicative than the energy released at the welding supply.
3. Detect < 0.5% changes in your welding process - performance exceeds that of monitors many times the price.

Weld Monitoring Unit
The standard weld monitor includes an optically isolated PLC interface for weld monitoring and automation applications. Four weld monitor status signals are available on a 15Way D-type connector, facilitating PLC weld condition and production monitoring. These signals also readily drive very low cost electronic counter modules if required.
The weld monitor can be optionally supplied with two fully isolated analogue channels in order to create a fully digital data acquisition weld monitoring system using a PLC or PC system independent of the manual rotary controls.

Weld Monitoring Unit
The Weld Monitoring Unit uses a patent pending measurement technique to realise a weld monitor that is both highly accurate and intuitive to setup and use. The weld monitor provides simple controls that are quickly set to match an ideal welding condition, typically setup within 5 or 6 sample welds.
The intuitive controls provide an immediate numeric “weld program” value allowing multiple weld schedules to be accommodated, simply by dialling up the program numbers. The weld monitor provides upper and lower weld monitoring process limits that are quickly and intuitively set around the spot welding program.
